Features

The game is set in a city where the player is a block and has to progress through the city. It is a new a god where through progressing the user gets new powers everytime they get past a boss. There is also a level builder which allows the user to create their own levels and play them to test out their skill. It has cool retro synthwave music to get the user immersed and engaged withe the experience even more.

This just shows a snippet of the game.

What I Learned

  • Consolidated my understanding of CLion
  • Component based programming
  • Consolidated my understanding of inheritance in OO programming
  • How important constant communication in a team is
  • No matter how good your code is since we’re making a game the most important aspect is gameplay and how it feels to play
